Both high top and low top versions of the sneaker will be offered in black and off-white. The heart logo of the brand is now much bigger on the new footwear range, and cut off by the midsole. The COMME des GARCONS PLAY x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star’ 70 will be launched exclusively at Dover Street Market London, Dover Street Market New York and COMME des GARCONS New York on May 14. ‘TCG’ the artist formally known as Thorocraft

Maybe you heard of Thorocraft at some point during your past #menswear 1.0 travels. They were purveyors of perfectly fine footwear, but, for the most part, their designs were always a bit too swagless for out taste. But none of that wack shit matters anymore because Thorocraft just pulled off the ill rebrand, flipping the script and reemerging as TCG (aka Thoroughly Crafted Goods), a brand with an aesthetic much more in line with today’s customer. The first installment of their new philosophy is seen with the brand’s “Olympia” pack of two athletic-leaning sneakerboots that are more sneaker than they are boot. Im looking forward to see what they have in store over the next couple of seasons.

Trends come and go but some products survive the ever changing landscape of ‘fashion’ when this happens the certain product is given iconic status. The desert boot has deservingly been given the iconic status. It crosses so many genres and demographics, every man should have at least one pair in their wardrobe.   To celebrate its 65th birthday on the 18th March a special edition boot has been created in Maple Suede  fabric which was used to make the first ever Desert Boot. Complete with commemorative fob and statement sapphire laces, the precious stone reflective of a 65th anniversary. Saint Laurent Spring/Summer 2015 Footwear Collection

Echoing the season’s “Psych Rock’s New Rising” menswear collection, Hedi Slimane has unveiled Saint Laurent‘s upcoming Spring/Summer 2015 footwear offerings. The collection is composed of various styles, from sneakers with paisley patterns to ankle boots with grunge details. visvim fans will especially be pleased, as the range features several models which are reminiscent the Japanese brand’s signature aesthetic. Highlighting the collection is one of those particular models, which borrows the silhouette of a high-top sneaker and incorporates a luxurious suede upper as well as a moccasin fringe. Also a couple of Cuban heels for good measure.

Entitled “geo patchwork,” the signature flap of the sneaker comes featuring a triangular patchwork pattern, made up of different fabrics. The upper of the shoe comes in premium UK suede and the sneaker is available in overall three colourways.

Art Comes First x PONY

After collabs with Wish and atmos, PONY is working with Art Comes First. The Sam Lambert and Shaka Maidoh founded entity is reviving some PONY classics, the Jumpshot and Linebacker. For the Jumpshot, Art Comes First has given the traditional basketball silhouette a modern adaptation with a herringbone upper that is shaped with pressure fused tape detailing. The Linebacker reissue is stepping on classic cleated sole with a dressy upper that is sculpted in a mix of leather and textile with a moccasin style fringe on the lace guard.

The kicks are scheduled to release in June as a Dover Street Market exclusive.

These look fu*cking strange but I am compelled to want to have a pair just to see how comfy they really are.  As soon as you lay eyes on these slippers you can see right away why they use “Fondue” in their name. The concept is very simple, you dip your foot into the PVC plastic, let it harden and presto you have a perfect fit pair of one of a kind slippers. These are currently in the early staged of production as far as Ohata making household kits that will eventually be shipped to customers that can be done in the comfort of their own home so stay tuned for more information once we get it and these become available to actually purchase.
