adidas Y-3 Boost Black/White

Adidas Y-3 Boost | The Style Raconteur

Y-3 are flying at the moment so many amazing styles and I’ve had a preview of next Summer and they are only going to take a bigger part of the premium sneaker market. Recently dropped is the Boost a sole unit obviously taken from Y-3’s bigger brother.  Its a design that features a minimal and super breathable mesh upper with a black and white stripe pattern running across almost the entirety of the shoe. A black semi-rigid suede heel and tongue provide a bit of added support without taking away from the sleek design, and underneath is a supremely comfortable Boost sole. They have dropped HERE

Roux Autumn Winter 2014 Drop 1

roux aw14 | the style raconteur

Drawing on nearly 10 years experience living and working in London’s Soho district, Roux. founder Greg White and those involved with the label continue to be inspired by the people, architecture and style that embody the area and seek to imbue their clothes with the same unique qualities. Roux.’s presence has been achieved in partnership with advertising agency Kastner & Partners in London, by using the agency’s creative strength and resources to bring the label’s vision to market.

The first AW14 drop from Roux. is a collection of carefully considered hand-printed t-shirts, inspired by the often over-delivered, and suggestion that it’s all been done before. Predominantly monochrome in delivery with subtle uses of teal, the graphics follow designer Greg White’s favoured style of bold shapes, repeat patterning and subtle concealed messages.

Printed in the UK onto a soft mix of 50% cotton 50% modal t-shirts. Buy HERE

A Champagne Glass Has Been Designed Based on Kate Moss’s Left Breast

Kate Moss's Breast Champagne Glass | The Style Raconteur

f you thought you’d seen enough of Kate Moss – being that she’s in an unrelenting amount of fashion campaigns – prepare yourself to see a bit more of her. Although we’ve already seen her nude in a campaign for St. Tropez, and on the cover of LUI magazine, get ready to become acquainted with her left breast, as it’s just been used to design a champagne glass. London restaurant 34 has produced an extra-special glass designed after the supermodel’s left breast to celebrate her having spent 25 years in the industry. The modeling industry that is, not the champagne industry. Or the restaurant industry. The inspiration came from the legend that the first ever champagne coupe was based on Marie Antoinette’s left breast, so Moss is in good company. You can get your hands on it beginning in October at 34 and its sister restaurants The Club at The Ivy, Daphne’s and Scott’s.

Etonic x Coogi Trans Am

etonic | the style raconteurOne of the biggest trainer brands in the Eighties, Etonic is making a comeback this year – starting with this collaboration between the brand and Coogi, a knitwear label made famous by Notorious BIG in the Nineties.  This particular shoe based on their staple Trans Am style. It has multicoloured woven upper very similar to the Coverse x Missoni a few years back. This has a much more premium finish hence the £295 price tag. Watch this space as the brands nears the relaunch.
