California-based brand Thorocraft was founded in 2009 and has become known for paring modern technology and rebellious bold style with classic footwear silhouettes. adidas’s latest running shoe is the lightweight and environmentally friendly Element Refine JS. For me I like it because it seems to be a cross between Roshe Run & a Flyknit racer which has been 2 of my fav shoes in the past year.
The shoe features a unique circular mesh fabric upper produced using lessons learned during the development of Primeknit. Strategically placed material splits minimize the amount of material required and support within the upper comes from the strategic placement of both the seams and the 3 Stripe overlay. The seams, though cut and sewn through a traditional process, are anything but and have been placed using insights gleamed from adidas’s extensive research in the running category. The most efficient cut and sew shoe in adidas’s history, with a 90% material usage efficiency, the Element Refine JS is definitely a shoe to keep an eye on this season. Some people celebrate anniversaries with jewelry, others celebrate with luggage. One such brand isPorsche, who teamed up with German luggage maker Rimowa for a limited-edition trolley case. The collaborative rolling case is delivered in light of the Porsche 911, which is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its introduction in 1963. The exterior of the luggage is made of aluminum and features leather garnish, while the inside is adorned with houndstooth and the same premium leather as found on the interior of the Porsche “50 Years of 911” anniversary model.
Maison Martin Margiela‘s signature Low-Top Replica Sneakers silhouette has received a luxe makeover for this latest release. The Black Studded Low-Top Replica Sneakers feature a textile and leather upper that’s been completely covered with small black pyramid studs. The Marathon 85 is based on an archive prototype that was never released to the public. Imagined in the mid-80s, the idea was to create a shoe that was super light yet also very hard-wearing. Now the shoe gets its time to shine with the launch of a very special archive version of this prototype. The FW13 offering of the Marathon 85 comes with suede over- and underlays, reflective stripes and heel patch, a nylon tongue and yellow outsole.
Teased just last week in prototypical lo-fi fashion, Palace Skateboards‘ collaboration with fellow countrymen Reebok has been revealed in its entirety. Featuring both the Classic Leather and the Workout, the capsule sees the silhouettes with premium leather and suede uppers, gum rubber soles, metallic gold branding, and custom insole graphics designed by Will Bankhead and Fergadelic. Done up in timeless combinations of black and white, the range is completed by a red, white, and blue edition of the Classic Leather as a nod to the UK’s Union Jack. Released tomorrow…be quick!

The guys at Stockholm-based brand Acne dropped a clean and solid interpretation of the classic biker leather jacket. Rendered in supple full grain leather, the jacket features a zipper breast pocket, blazing red satin lining and suede panels accross the back and sleeves.
