PUMA presents an aptly timed “New Year’s Eve” pack of it Disc Blaze Lite silhouette. Featuring a grey mesh upper, the shoes are glitzed up for the occasion with silver leather overlays on the heel and a reflective metallic leather shroud. They are finished off with a white outsole and tongue unit with black dial. If the lunar-looking model isn’t for you, it also comes in a black/gold colorway as well. Look for both when they drop at select retailers on December 23.

Jeff staple and PUMA have just released the details on their upcoming project, the “Puma Pigeon Suede.” The sneaker features the Staple Design signature New York City “Pigeon” on the heel and dons a tonal grey suede throughout with subtle orange accents. The upper features the same tonal grey used throughout the sneaker as well as “PUMA Pigeon” lettering embossed. Exclusively handcrafted in Japan under Puma’s “Made in Japan” campaign, the sneaker will only be made in a quantity of 500 pairs worldwide. The sneaker is slated to release on April 17, 2013 in-store only at Reed Space in New York City. A worldwide release is scheduled for May 3, 2013.

PUMA by MIHARAYASUHIRO has been going for a while now, if you dont know it is a contemporary blend of high fashion and sport whose previous models have run the gamut from snakeskin iterations to classic tennis shoes. For the latest season, they present the “Snake” and “Emboss” versions of the MY-59. A combination of technical performance and outside-of-the-box design due in large part to the DISC SYSTEM closure, both versions contain BODYTRAIN technology culminating in a striking package.

2012 marks the 20th anniversry of the debut of the Puma Blaze…which blew me away back thenapart from Reeboks Pump there was nothing like it. The 1992 original has been reworked with a modern sole and techinal upper in a subtle black & white colourway which is great becuase I always remember the originals colourways looked like the inside of a LSD trip.

Having worked on a few projects already in the past, the new ALIFE x PUMA R698 sneaker has released at select sneaker accounts this week. The New York crew gave the sneaker silhouette a full metallic silver upper. While some parts of the sneaker feature perforated silver metallic leather uppers, others feature an ALIFE all-over embossed leather. A special ALIFE x PUMA tag has been placed on the tongue and the Trinomic branding has been embossed on the heel of the sneakers. Furthermore both brands have logo placements on the cork insoles.
