Denham presents a Heritage Tribute to ‘American Psycho’

Conceived and produced by creative agency Flickering Wall, “Denham Psycho” is a short film tribute to the controversial cult-classic American Psycho. Director Hugo Keijzer explains: “When I first heard Jason Denham talk about jeans it reminded me of the film’s legendary business card scene. I recognized the same manic attention to detail and ravenous appetite for craftsmanship. This triggered the idea for a modern-day remake of the scene.” According to Denham, the films reflects “the compulsive ‘otaku’ culture that tends to characterize the inner core of the denim scene.” The film was created to celebrate the kick-off event of “The Blue Yard” Denham Pop-Up Store & Cinema tonight, January 14 in Berlin. Denham presents the third generation of its fusion winter-parka/denizen smock for Autumn Winter 2013. Retaining the vintage military DNA of previous iterations, the jacket continues to embrace Mackintosh’s water-resistant fabrics, with a unique hybrid finish that incorporates Loden wool alongside the traditional gabardine and latex membrane. This mix creates a water resistant barrier whilst repelling the elements and providing additional heat. The latest version of the Mac Station also includes familiar functional Denham features like the Cable Connection closure, Reverse Tape-Through Buttons, Flip-Snap Cuffs, Removable Brassard, pit venting, interior half-lining, boxed button waist adjuster and internal neoprene iPad and iPhone pockets.
