Vans Sk8-Hi Sneakers

The release of the Sk8-Hi Suede Sneakers from Vans arrive in a pair of suede and canvas combinations. Available in two colorways for the Spring season, the brown suede option features the color on the vamp and heel panel while the other sports a honey mustard suede on the same locations. The shoes feature black canvas quarter panels and white side stripes with complimentary white laces. Vans never disappoint with style and design and the same goes for the release of the Sk8-Hi Suede Sneakers available through Vans DQM.

Regional Pride ‘Teesside’ T-shirt

I’m from Middlesbrough and proud of it…so I’m wearing a chuffy badge after seeing this t-shirt. Regional Pride and the Teesside T-shirt is a collaboration between Three young Teesside entrepreneurs: Thomas Smith and an up and coming graphic design company called Brainbox Studios headed by Emma Tweddle and Vik Watson. Endorsed by the incredible legend that is Bob Mortimer and LA Ink’s world famous Tattoo artist Dan Smith (a native Teessider) Pick up your own T-shirt here & spread the love!

Wolsey Striped ‘Caesar’ Sweater

Wolsey is making waves at the moment, with an amazing collection this season. This sweater is  a simplistic shape reworked to give a contemporary take the traditional nautical summer stripes that we see season after season. The Caesar crew neck striped sweater is a lightweight knit made in a luxurious cotton slub yarn. It is a reversed knit constructed with a raglan ‘inside out’ seam finish, roll end sleeves and neckline and finished with Wolsey’s signature 1755 branding on the sleeve. Perfect with chinos for the summer!

Nigel Cabourn “Desert Rats” Camouflage Collection

Named “Desert Rats” after the 7th Armoured Division, the Nigel Cabourn Spring/Summer 2012 collection is a study of the uniforms and civil clothing worn by their officer Field Marshal Montgomery. The New Pocket Tenzing Jacket Camo is originally part of the Everest collection, but it also fits perfectly here along with the Bombay Bloomer Shorts. Made from a very light, yet durable cotton drill camouflage cloth both pieces define Cabourn’s vision and referencing.

Adidas Originals Munchen Sneakers

The adidas Originals München has seen quite a storied history since its indoor training debut in 1976. A silhouette that represented a significant stride in advancing light weight training shoes, the München sees a new iteration for a March 2012 release. Perforated leather and suede paneling makes up the majority of the shoe’s upper while iconic blue and white leather covers the Three Stripes motif across the side. A clean take on the classic model, a pure white outsole finishes off a refreshingly minimal aesthetic.

John’s Phone

I am sure this is named after my mate John Illingworth as he has always had shit phones (Sorry chor!). John’s Phone is the most basic mobile phone in the world. You can make and receive calls anywhere in the world: no frills, no unnecessary features like a camera, SMS or an infinite number of rings. John’s Phone keeps things simple. Produced by the John Doe agency of Amsterdam. Available for Pre-Order at colette. Joking aside I really like this Lo-Wi is the new Hi-Fi!

Stone Island Shadow Project GORE-TEX Shell Jacket

Under the careful guidance of Errolson Hugh, Stone Island Shadow Project advances a new outerwear piece that seeks to combine understated style and unassuming performance via the GORE-TEX exterior shell. The aesthetic projects a modern take on a traditional suit blazer boasting inconspicuous asymmetric layering, a supplementary hood and a number of utilitarian pockets.

Folk Spring Summer 2012 : Van Mildert

Van Mildert has just taken delivery of their Spring Summer 12 Folk stock and have produced some pretty cool imagery to go with it. For me this is up there with one of Folk best seasons, with Autumn Winter 2012 being the best collection they have ever done. T-shirt prints are again strong, also make sure you cop the slightly reworked rain jacket which seemed to sell out in minutes last season. Buy the collection here

Dior Homme Leather High-Tops Sneakers

With defining urban appeal, Dior Homme adds to their footwear lineup a new pair of high-top sneakers. The high-top shoes include dark features on the upper, padded ankles and tongue, all of which tastefully clash with the shoe’s bright white rubber soles. Extra details include a coated lace-up front, a ‘Dior Homme’ stamped metal plaque and leather lining.

iPhone 5 Concept by CiccareseDesign

In the light of all the buzz that has been circulating around Apple products, Ciccaresedesign has taken the opportunity to imagine what the iPhone 5 might resemble. The Italian based company is no stranger to reinventing Apple products and with the iPhone 5 having no face yet, this one sure puts great anticipation in the product. Ciccaredesign’s take offers a much more organic look for the iPhone, truly emphasizing the humanistic and almost second nature feel that iPhones provide through user interaction. Perhaps this could be what Apple is aiming at for their next phone. I love all the concept designs check out my fav here
