Taking cues from one of the world’s most expensive paintings – No.5 1948 by American expressionist artist Jackson Pollock – Dutch label Filling Pieces present a limited edition iteration of their ever-popular Low Top model. Dubbed “Splash,” the shoe recreates Pollock’s opus, with paint splatters adorning the entirety of the sneaker’s premium full grain leather construction.
Retailing at around £175, the graphic kicks are currently available via select retailers, including END.

Ronnie Fieg and Filling Pieces offer a preview of their collaborative Quilted RF-Mid silhouette. Handmade in Portugal, the shoe features a quilted leather upper with a smooth leather midsole, heel and long tongue with an embossed logo. Finishing touches include matching laces, metal eyelets and a rubber outsole with textured foxing. The Quilted RF-Mid is available in three different colourways: black, red and white with a gum outsole. Each colourway is limited to 200 pairs. After highlighting the Embossed Lo, Amsterdam-based footwear label Filling Pieces presents a look at its collection for Spring/Summer 2014. Offering up a multitude of finishes across its signature Lowtop, Hightop, and Mountain Cut silhouettes, this latest collection is certainly the brand’s most ambitious yet. Both the Lowtop and Mountain Cut are on the receiving end of some more inventive finishes, including detail-rich embossing, unique perforations, and unexpected stitching. Founded in 2009 Dutch label Filling Pieces has been producing luxurious trainers made from the most premium materials available. Created by Guillaume Philbert each pair is handmade in Portugal.
The Low Top trainer is the brand’s first produced model and is already becoming a ‘classic’ amongst it’s fans.
