Maharishi presents its Spring/Summer 2013 collection in the form of a lookbook, entitled “Memento Mori.” Celebrating the “Year of the Snake” as per Chinese tradition, they have infused several aspects of the animal composition into its collection. Playing on the patterning of snakeskin, the designers focused on reiterating the texture throughout the range; snakeskin is seen in camo, beige and more throughout blazer interiors, T-shirts, shorts and pants.

After first surfacing back in November, more concrete release information has emerged regarding the collaboration between Japan’s atmos and Nike. The biggest two prints in streetwear recently have been Camo and Animal prints so the genuis team at atmos & Nike have combined the two! Sarcasim aside I really like the Leopard/Desert camo edition. Additionally, matching t-shirts and hats with the same pattern round out the Animal Camo pack. The collaborative items from atmos and Nike will be available online on February 13.
Missoni brings its own touch to the classic desert boot for their Spring/Summer ’13 line with meticulous craftsmanship and the brand’s signature patterns. Their take on the desert boot has the classic suede upper decorated with embroidered detailing that sits atop a leather and crepe sole…over the £350 mark which may stop a few purchasing though.
Readers will know I love a Terry Richardson photoshoot and this is up there. Terry (first name terms) shot Rihanna for her recent cover of Rolling Stone. With a corresponding editorial entitled “Crazy in Love,” the internet is sure to be set ablaze not only by the images that showcase her bronzed packaging, but surely the ensuing story that should reveal insights into her mind, process and of course…love life.

These are very cool…I wouldnt say all of you can get away with them nor me but I will give it a good go! They are from a brand called Thorocraft and will be dropping very soon to retailers the world over. Constructed from several layers of genuine leather with a final appointment of floral print fabric, The ‘Hampton’ Floral is sat upon an EVA sole and finished with a Goodyear welt. I will let you know where they will drop soon.
For his 2013 Autumn Winter collection, American-born designer Tom Ford channels quintessentially British sartorial-ism into the label’s silhouettes and designs. Assumingly inspired from his time spent living in the country, the apparent slim fitting suits and drainpipe pants, most of which come in classic check patterning, largely make up the upcoming collection while fur collar coats, understated sweaters and loud blazers are added to the mix. The looks overall tailor to the slim-fit gentleman who’ll fit right in with the mod crowd.
Today marks the official announcement and debut of the DKNY and Opening Ceremony collaboration for Spring/Summer 2013. With an undeniable design aesthetic pulled from 90s hip-hop/sportswear culture, monochromatic pieces include tees, pants, jumpsuits, hooded sweatshirts and more. In speaking about the project Carol Lim commented, “DKNY was a pioneer of streetwear fashion in the Nineties.
