Suprem x Stone Island Spring Summer 2015 | The Style Raconteur

This season’s Supreme x Stone Island collection is gonna hit the Italian brand’s webshop and Supreme Stores next Thursday 9th April not on just the German edition of their website as was first feared today.

Composed of two anoraks that appear to be Tela Stella, three long-sleeve tees and two caps, the collaborative goods continue the duo’s recent efforts to outfit classic pieces from the Stone Island archive with decidedly on-trend prints and patterns. While the striped tees keep things grounded, the allover paisley anoraks are sure to be one of Spring Summer 2015’s most coveted cops.

In addition to crafting a Vans Old Skool sneaker, emerging Russian designer Gosha Rubchinskiy has also collaborated with the esteemed skate brand for two new pairs of Vans‘ Classic Slip-On. The low-top skate shoes sport an identical design motif, which consists of a cream coloured canvas stitched alongside two printed pieces, as seen on the back heel and toe box on the shoe’s upper, and finished with a white midsole marked by a blue colored band that wraps around the shoe. Stone Island SS15 Camo Bomber Jacket | The Style Raconteur

A new running theme or side collection for Stone Island this continues for Spring Summer 2015 with an design inspired by an indonesian  camouflage from the 1960’s. The garment that stands out for me is the simple bomber jacket, the fabric is a double weave military-spec fabric, made with a cotton / nylon blend weft and a linen warp, which has then been treated inside to create a light level of wind and water resistance. A classic, athletic design, it is equipped with two welt pockets, a ribbed collar, cuffs and hem and is finished with of course the detachable logo patch at the arm. Y-3 Spring Summer 15 | The Style Raconteur

Y-3 are smashing in at the moment with this seasons introduction of the Qasa and Boost silhouettes which was going to bw hard to top but they have done it again for the second season on the bounce. They have just unveiled the remaining styles in its latest 2015 spring summer footwear collection. Adopting a predominantly muted colour palette of black and white, the lineup encompasses models such as the new Qasa Retro Boost, Laver slip-on, Held 2 high-top, Kaohe sandal and Kohna Futuristic as well as two of the original Qasa silhouettes. While the sneakers incorporate incognito colours, the materials utilized create an interesting effect like with the rest of the previous releases, where we find neoprenes, suedes and leather accents tastefully adorning different areas. The above boost is the winning style for me. Echoing the season’s “Psych Rock’s New Rising” menswear collection, Hedi Slimane has unveiled Saint Laurent‘s upcoming Spring/Summer 2015 footwear offerings. The collection is composed of various styles, from sneakers with paisley patterns to ankle boots with grunge details. visvim fans will especially be pleased, as the range features several models which are reminiscent the Japanese brand’s signature aesthetic. Highlighting the collection is one of those particular models, which borrows the silhouette of a high-top sneaker and incorporates a luxurious suede upper as well as a moccasin fringe. Also a couple of Cuban heels for good measure.
