Both high top and low top versions of the sneaker will be offered in black and off-white. The heart logo of the brand is now much bigger on the new footwear range, and cut off by the midsole. The COMME des GARCONS PLAY x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star’ 70 will be launched exclusively at Dover Street Market London, Dover Street Market New York and COMME des GARCONS New York on May 14. Converse x Nigel Cabourn Chuck Taylor 1970 Hi “Ventile”

Today we get a first look at the next collaboration between Converse and heritage brand Nigel Cabourn. After previously having done the Chuck Taylor All Star Bosey and the Plimsole, Nigel Cabourn worked on the Chuck Taylor 1970 this time. Giving it a white upper and red details and branding, the look is clean and perfect for the summer months that lie ahead. The designer used Ventile fabric for the upper, making the shoes weatherproof, which is a subtle, yet exciting feature on these. The sneakers will release at select retailers on March 21.

Undefeated x Nike Lunar Force 1

We now can have full look at the LF1 High and Low that make up this pack. Starting things off is the High, which features a hairy red suede upper accented with a red houndstooth ankle strap, Undefeated’s five strike logo on the heel and a speckled white Lunarlon sole below. Then there is the Low, which features a black and olive houndstooth upper with black laces, tongue, heel tab and Swoosh, all sitting atop a speckled white Lunarlon sole. Both models are finished off with an orange lining and Undefeated branding on the tongues and insoles. Look for both pairs at Undefeated and select stockists like Concepts starting February 28.

Nike Air Jordan 1 High OG BRED

The famed BRED colorway of the Air Jordan 1 High that put Michael Jordan in violation of the 1985 NBA dress code is back this year. The kicks racked up fines and publicity for MJ and Nike and earned the silhouette and color palette a place in NBA history. The return of the OG colorway is part of Nike’s OG series that nixes the retro Jumpman style for the original Nike Air on the tongue and outsole. Check out the images and look out for the kicks to release on the 28th of December. We will keep posted with a release date confirmation as the release draws near.

Crafted from full canvas, these APE STA HIs should make a great addition to the shoe rotation this summer.

Undoubtedly one of the major elements of designs as of late, the use of patterns and its Japanese-English derived “Basketplayers” designation features a number of rudimentary basketball player illustrations in two colors. Available this month at Converse retailers across Japan this month.

Vans OTW Autumn Winter 2012 Breton Hi

Meant to withstand the harsh weather brought on by the winter season, Vans OTW is set to introduce the Breton Hi. A high-top boot, the new silhouette is the first in the OTW line to feature a rugged Vibram sole and pairs the look with a sophisticated boot upper constructed specifically to withstand any weather it faces. Debuting in waxed brown canvas and black ballistic constructions, both pairs of the Breton Hi are set to start rolling out to Vans OTW retailers on July 1st.
