KENZO x Evian Limited-Edition Bottles

IMG_2822.JPG

For Parisian fashion house KENZO‘s latest collaboration, the contemporary brand steps outside the realm of style to release a limited-edition bottle with Evian. This is not the first creative partnership from the French mineral water company, as it has paired with the likes of Elie Saab, Diane Von Furstenberg, Issey Miyake, Paul Smith, Jean Paul Gaultier, Courrèges and Christian Lacroix in the recent past. The result of their pairing sees a glass bottle that takes design cues from KENZO’s David Lynch-inspired fall collection with a vibrant blue and yellow broken floor pattern. The two brand’s have not yet released details regarding where and when this collaborative bottle can be purchased, so be sure to keep an eye out at KENZO retailers around the globe.

Stone Island x Supreme Capsule Collection

IMG_2818.JPG

Another bit of Stone Island news as Supreme presents its aptly-timed collaborative capsule with Italian company for Winter 2014 season. Consisting of both a crewneck and hooded sweatshirt as well as a jacket, sweatpant and camp cap, the collection features subtle branding from both parties while retaining the performance-oriented features Stone Island is famous for. For example, the Raso Gommato Cover Nero Jacket is crafted from a wind and water-resistant cotton satin bonded to a polyurethane coating and outfitted with a removable liner.

Look for the collection in-store in at Supreme locations in New York, Los Angeles, London and online on October 2 and later across Japan on October 4. The capsule will also be available at select Stone Island stores.

Stone Island Raso Hand-Painted Field Jacket

IMG_2795.JPG
Stone Island pushes the boundaries with this hand-painted M65 jacket, as part of their larger Autumn Winter 2014 collection. We can assume the Italian brand have deployed their signature space-age fabrics alongside the hand-painted finish, which gives each piece a unique finish and texture. If you feel like getting in on the unorthodox outerwear, head over to Concept by Cruise.

Stussy x Kangol Bermuda Casual Hats

IMG_2794-0.JPG
Adored by hip hoppers the world over, Kangol‘s iconic Bermuda Casual bucket hat was worn by LL Cool J so much in the 1990s that people thought there was something actually wrong with his head (!). Stussy‘s Japanese arm have teamed up with the brand for a trio of new versions of the hat, with navy, white, and a Gucci-inspired black, green, and red version all sporting the brand’s logo and signature script on the underbrim. No word on a worldwide release as of yet, but given the success of Kangol’s collab with Patta, hopefully this will be made more generally available soon.

Nike returns after a seven-month hiatus with its second colorway for the Flyknit Chukka Trainer FSB. First seen on the feet of Winter Olympians earlier in the year, this time around the winterized trainer’s ultra-lightweight Flyknit-wool blend upper sports a charcoal hue with a contrasting white Swoosh as well as a black and white speckled Free-inspired midsole, all of which lends a deep space kind of vibe. A great boot alternative for the impending winter months, the Nike Flyknit Chukka Trainer FSB “Light Charcoal” is currently only available at German retailer Asphaltgold.

Nike presents us with an official look at its upcoming Nike Free Orbit II SP, the silhouette positioned as the followup to 2011′s Nike Lunar Orbit. Both designed by Nathan VanHook – the same Nike designer that was responsible for the Nike Air Yeezy 2. Resting on an ultra-flexible Free 5.0 sole, the slip-on has an avant-garde sensibility, with asymmetrical dimensions, raised geometric upper and a mesh vamp for added breathability. Side zip detailing allows for easy on and off, while a discreetly placed Swoosh on the toe offers the only bit of exterior branding.  Nike Free Orbit II SP Polka Dot Pack, set to launch September 25th at NikeLab locations and online, as well as select Nike retailers.

A Large Evil Corporation : Evil Vinyl Iconic Characters

Shaun_Ed2-1024x576

After A Large Evil Corporation had amazing feedback from their Vinyl make-ups of Cornetto Trilogy (one of which is above) they have out done themselves with more iconic characters from popular culture. Everyone is bang on the money. Donald & Davey Stott I WANT asap!!! They are currently figuring out some logistics on potentially having them made on a, hopefully, much larger scale – the more you ask for them, the more likely this will happen – so if you haven’t already, go follow them on Twitter, or give them a like on Facebook.
