Cartier Nail Bangle by Bamford Watch Department

cartier-nail-bangle-bamford-watch-department-1There was an under-the-radar release by Bamford Watch Department this week. Not really a general public release and rather a special custom job for a few select notable clients of the brand, BWD has applied its trademark military-grade PVD treatment to the Cartier Nail Bangle. Best known for its Rolex customization service, this is the first time we have seen the technique used on jewelry. It goes without saying, the Cartier bracelet looks fantastic blacked out and will certainly turn some heads. One interesting thing to note here, though, is that Cartier does not produce these bracelets (just like the LOVE bracelet by the brand) in steel or silver. They are only available in precious metals, including several gold options (white gold, yellow gold and rose gold) and platinum. It’s one thing to give a metal Rolex Oyster a black upper, but it’s another thing to cover gold and platinum in black.

Harrow Skull Armchair

Consisting of a black gloss resin exterior sitting atop a steel internal frame, the Skull Chair is a geometric, stylized take on the human skull. More than just a unique design, the chair features plush foam cushioning covered in luxurious black velvet. Union x Converse First String 1970s Chuck Taylor All Star Collection

union-converse-1970s-chuck-taylor-all-star-collection-1For the first time ever, California retailer Union teams with the iconic Converse brand to release a two-part collection of First String 1970s Chuck Taylor All Stars. Each drop is constructed with a premium felted wool exterior and lined with soft sheep’s leather to turn an otherwise summery sneaker into a fully winterized piece of footwear. While the white version features emerald stitching and a neon yellow outsole, the blue pair goes tonal with its stitch detail to match a vibrantly red outsole. Both models will also come with an alternate set of laces to match its outsole color. The Union x Converse 1970s Chuck Taylor All Star Collection is currently available in-store at the retailer’s Los Angeles location

Nike x Hasbro Megatron Action Figure

Of course this one-of-a-kind toy and first for Hasbro takes on the shape of Megatron – the leader of the Decepticon’s and Johnson’s on-field alter ego. The 5-inch purple figurine will come as an added bonus to anyone that purchases Nike’s new CJ81 Trainer Max today at UNKNWN

After getting customers’ requests for a number of years, Stussy finally made the decision to have their signature “Welcome” Door Mat available for purchase. A staple of all Stussy Chapter Stores, the 29.5-inch by 19.5-inch mat is all-natural and made for coco palm fibers. Stenciled with raised “Welcome” lettering in the iconic Stussy script, the mat is now available through Stussy online store as well as select Stussy Chapter Store worldwide.

Nike Air Max Light Atomic Violet

Nike’s 1989 Air Max light is the meat in the middle of the Air Max 1 and Air Max 90 sandwich, and ain’t it a tasty filling. Over the past six years we’ve been thoroughly enjoying the resurrection of the near-forgotten Hatfield hero. It’s not just the sleek design that gets us though, it’s not just the obvious Nike DNA either, the Air Max Light is an animal of its own, a sexy animal with the luring power of a minx. Seen here in a cool concoction of deep and cool grey, contrasted with atomic violet and soothed by white, this particular CW channels the era in which it was born.

Concepts x Red Wing Plain Toe Boots

Boston retailer Concepts continues with its high profile collaborations. After having worked with Fila, Clarks and with The North Face recently, the store has now teamed up with Red Wing on the Plan Toe Boot. The boots come in two colourways, featuring extremely soft suede uppers. The whole leather/suede upper has been tumble washed to give it a soft touch and “deconstructed” feel. The entire boot, including the toe, is unlined, adding to the soft and unconstructed look and feel of the unique collaboration. The navy and red colors of the boots will release exclusively at Concepts, starting November 23.

CLAE Mills Taupe/Oxblood Suede

The shoe features a taupe nubuck upper accented with a rich oxblood suede on the toe box and collar. Both the tongue and heel feature plush neoprene inserts for added comfort during wear and below is the shoe’s most notable attribute, the cork midsole. Again sticking with the RIMOWA Topas Stealth, this season’s collaboration offers the iconic piece of luggage in two sizes. Each suitcase features the same riffled aluminum shell with polished and reinforced corners and comes complete TSA-approved locks set into the case, a telescopic handle, four independent wheels, and a unique serial number. The interior compartment is classic Moncler, with padded nylon lining each piece and a set of matching padded nylon pieces for your toiletries, dirty laundry, and shoes. Both sizes are available now at select Moncler boutiques.
