Lexdray Autumn Winter Collection

Ive been a massive fan of Lexdray for a while and my Boulder Backpack has been permanent fixture on my back for a number of years now. Lexdray updated their robust luggage collection once again for the 2014 winter season. Included in the lineup are three all-new styles, namely the hiking-inspired Mont Blanc backpack, the compact yet functional San Diego pack, and the roomy Beijing duffle for weekend trips. Along with the Ibiza Pack with its staggering array of compartments, the styles have been rendered in a new olive colorway and kitted out with custom heather grey nylon linings. The offerings are, of course, weather-resistant, utilizing premium materials such as ballistic nylon, shock-absorbing fleece and military-grade hardware to protect your essentials. A travel tray completes the selection to help you organize miscellaneous items. Available only in limited runs.

Lexdray Spring Summer 2014 Collection

Swag bagmakers Lexdray are reissuing updated versions of their Tokyo and Boulder backpacks, along with their Shanghai Tote, for this summer’s collection. Manufactured from high-grade ballistic nylon, lined in a marbled grey-green camo print, and finished with striped webbing and navy accents, each one’s packing a few surprises up its sleeve when it comes to clever storage space. All three bags will be available in limited quantities soon.

Maison Martin Margiela x Globe-Trotter 30″ Travel Suitcase

One of Britain’s best when it comes to luggage, Globe-Trotter, comes together with Maison Martin Margiela to create a unique, special edition 30″ Travel Suitcase. Coming with an already weathered and worn look fitting of a piece that has seen more miles than even Tom Stuker (look this man up!), the suitcase features a light grey leather exterior with abrasions and black skuff marks. Looking in quite pristine shape, however, are the tan leather straps, handles, and corners, which not only stand out from their quality, but for their contrast against the distressed aesthetic. Look for this case to hit MMM stores beginning this March.

Moncler x RIMOWA 2013 Autumn Winter Luggage Collection

Moncler and RIMOWA are back with a new luggage collection for Winter 2013. Again sticking with the RIMOWA Topas Stealth, this season’s collaboration offers the iconic piece of luggage in two sizes. Each suitcase features the same riffled aluminum shell with polished and reinforced corners and comes complete TSA-approved locks set into the case, a telescopic handle, four independent wheels, and a unique serial number. The interior compartment is classic Moncler, with padded nylon lining each piece and a set of matching padded nylon pieces for your toiletries, dirty laundry, and shoes. Both sizes are available now at select Moncler boutiques.

Porsche x Rimowa 50 Years of 911 Trolley Case

Some people celebrate anniversaries with jewelry, others celebrate with luggage. One such brand isPorsche, who teamed up with German luggage maker Rimowa for a limited-edition trolley case. The collaborative rolling case is delivered in light of the Porsche 911, which is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its introduction in 1963. The exterior of the luggage is made of aluminum and features leather garnish, while the inside is adorned with houndstooth and the same premium leather as found on the interior of the Porsche “50 Years of 911” anniversary model.

Bellroy Passport Sleeve

I’m always seeking out small solutions to make my traveling experience more bearable. When Bellroy sent some samples to my office the first thing I picked up was the Passport Sleeve. This minimalist travel companion classily holds your most important documents in a case of premium leather and includes a handy pen along with storage for your passport, as well as multiple cards, tickets and boarding passes, but its forte is its size perfect to fit in a back or jacket pocket which makes it accessible with the greatest of ease.

Carhartt WIP x UDG Island Camouflage Luggage

No longer a traveling solution just for DJs, Carhartt WIP and UDG recently expanded their collaborative luggage collection to include Travel Trolley in Small and Medium, in addition to the Slingbag, and all-time DJ’s favorite, the Slingbag Trolly Deluxe. Now in Carhartt‘s original “Island Camouflage”, each comes sizable compartments as well as copious amount of storage, both inside and out. Made to last in either famously durable duck canvas or polyester cloth, each is resistant to water, dust, dirt, and occasional spilled drinks. Along with the new camo pattern, the collection is still available in black or the traditional Carhartt Brown. Available soon here

Lexdray Autumn Winter 2012 Collection

In my opinion Lexdray is second to none… I spent a very long time searching for the best backpack to service my needs and the huge amount of traveling I do, and with the launch of their new 2012 winter collection its time to add to my luggage. Featuring a brand new lineup of bags and accessories. The new collection features the London Garment bag, a redesigned Boulder Pack, the Sao Paulo Sling bag, the Oxford Suiter bag and the Monte Carlo wallet. The London Garment bag is a traveling wardrobe designed to carry suits, dress shoes and all the other necessities for dressing well on the road. A drop-down design means it can be hung on a door for easy access to all the contents within. The redesigned Boulder Pack breaks rank with the rest of the range with a tan colourway and features a host of pockets and storage options for carrying the daily essentials. The Sao Paulo Sling is designed as a small daily carryall and can be easily worn slung over one shoulder. The Oxford Suiter is a light garment bag designed to accommodate two suits with space for cuff-links clips and ties. Rounding out the collection is the Monte Carlo wallet, a slim wallet with multiple slots to accommodate cards and currency and an elastic band to keep the wallet compact.
