Streetwear staple brand Stussy has gone back to its roots and returns this season with a new iteration of its ”IST Varsity Jacket.” In a retro-inspired aesthetic, the hooded wool garment features contrasting varsity stripes on the bottom and cuffs, while leather sleeves are also set in a different color to bring out the nostalgic feel even further. The jacket then adorns a large “INTERNATIONAL Stussy TRIBE” motif on the rear, with more brand patchworks on the front chest area. Finishing touches include branded buttons, leather-covered pockets and a quilted interior. The jacket was one of the earliest unifying representations of Stussy’s global influence as select International Stussy Tribe members were gifted with jackets as a token to the movement. Available in a black and white colorway as well as a grey and white option, the jacket will soon be available at Stussy Chapter Stores in Japan.
