Suprem x Stone Island Spring Summer 2015 | The Style Raconteur

This season’s Supreme x Stone Island collection is gonna hit the Italian brand’s webshop and Supreme Stores next Thursday 9th April not on just the German edition of their website as was first feared today.

Composed of two anoraks that appear to be Tela Stella, three long-sleeve tees and two caps, the collaborative goods continue the duo’s recent efforts to outfit classic pieces from the Stone Island archive with decidedly on-trend prints and patterns. While the striped tees keep things grounded, the allover paisley anoraks are sure to be one of Spring Summer 2015’s most coveted cops.

The name “Mason” is deterred in different forms all over the world. . The name is a reference to masonic ideology, meaning being in a circle rich with productive individuals, who may not be in the same field, but all strive to achieve success. A small circle of friends forming a creative collective. Not all of you would know of Mason Garments as the brand has been rising under the radar since being formed in 2011, which for me is a good thing in the world of over hyped products where we live today. Mason Garments wanted to take the “High-price” out of luxury products and go back to making remarkable and stylish design products by using elegant fabrics that are chic and affordable.  The spring summer collection is retailing mostly under £300 which in todays over priced sneaker market is very good for the quality and finishes Mason Garment uses. In addition to crafting a Vans Old Skool sneaker, emerging Russian designer Gosha Rubchinskiy has also collaborated with the esteemed skate brand for two new pairs of Vans‘ Classic Slip-On. The low-top skate shoes sport an identical design motif, which consists of a cream coloured canvas stitched alongside two printed pieces, as seen on the back heel and toe box on the shoe’s upper, and finished with a white midsole marked by a blue colored band that wraps around the shoe. Ive just got back from Florence where fashion’s most current make the bi-annual pilgrimage to Pitti Uomo – the renowned, if not infamous menswear showcase in Italy. Where people either work looking out for new collections or people just stand around desperate for a photographer (which there are 100’s) to snap them and be on the same blog as Nick Wooster! Stone Island SS15 Camo Bomber Jacket | The Style Raconteur

A new running theme or side collection for Stone Island this continues for Spring Summer 2015 with an design inspired by an indonesian  camouflage from the 1960’s. The garment that stands out for me is the simple bomber jacket, the fabric is a double weave military-spec fabric, made with a cotton / nylon blend weft and a linen warp, which has then been treated inside to create a light level of wind and water resistance. A classic, athletic design, it is equipped with two welt pockets, a ribbed collar, cuffs and hem and is finished with of course the detachable logo patch at the arm.
