Supreme x Stone Island Spring Summer 2015 Collection

Suprem x Stone Island Spring Summer 2015 | The Style Raconteur

This season’s Supreme x Stone Island collection is gonna hit the Italian brand’s webshop and Supreme Stores next Thursday 9th April not on just the German edition of their website as was first feared today.

Composed of two anoraks that appear to be Tela Stella, three long-sleeve tees and two caps, the collaborative goods continue the duo’s recent efforts to outfit classic pieces from the Stone Island archive with decidedly on-trend prints and patterns. While the striped tees keep things grounded, the allover paisley anoraks are sure to be one of Spring Summer 2015’s most coveted cops.

You know this is gonna be one fastest selling colabs of the year so be fast next Thursday HERE

Supreme x Nike SB GTS

Nike x Supreme GTS Collection | The Style Raconteur

As shown in the latest installment of Japanese footwear magazine SHOES MASTER Vol. 23, Supreme offers an exclusive look at their upcoming collaboration with Nike SB as they reveal their iteration on the dated GTS model. Popular amongst skateboarders in the early 90s and having been originally released as a tennis shoe under the Nike Sportswear division, the vulcanized low-tops come equipped with herringbone uppers in black, white, yellow and red with a denim option available in a mid-blue chambray. The shoes bear a calligraphic Supreme logo embroidered across their heel-counters with Nike branding being reserved to the leather heel-tab, tongue and miniaturized swoosh which has become a familiar detail to the GTS model.

The collaboration is expected to release late May of this year  and will be available directly from Supreme.

Stone Island x Supreme Capsule Collection

IMG_2818.JPG

Another bit of Stone Island news as Supreme presents its aptly-timed collaborative capsule with Italian company for Winter 2014 season. Consisting of both a crewneck and hooded sweatshirt as well as a jacket, sweatpant and camp cap, the collection features subtle branding from both parties while retaining the performance-oriented features Stone Island is famous for. For example, the Raso Gommato Cover Nero Jacket is crafted from a wind and water-resistant cotton satin bonded to a polyurethane coating and outfitted with a removable liner.

Look for the collection in-store in at Supreme locations in New York, Los Angeles, London and online on October 2 and later across Japan on October 4. The capsule will also be available at select Stone Island stores.

stussy-x-vault-by-vans-2014-spring-collection-3Stussy and Vans bring together their most favored motifs for a new collection this season. Taking to the classic throwback silhouettes of Vans’ Vault collection, Stussy has outfitted the OG Era LX, OG Style 36 LX, and OG Sk8-Hi LX with three distinct patterns from their prolific canon. Shawn Stussy’s original “Tom Tom” pattern from the 1980′s is executed on the Style 36 shoe, complimented with neon green striping and beige suede at the tongue and toecap. The Era LX gets treated with Stussy’s punk ‘Bones’ pattern across the entire upper, contrasted by vibrant sky blue at the interior and leather heel panel. Finally, the OG Sk8-Hi LX sees its own hallmark checkering mixed with Stussy’s infamous 8 Ball print, interrupted by a bold red sidestripe. All three pieces will release in June at worldwide Stussy chapters, as well as select Vans Vault retailersstussy-x-vault-by-vans-2014-spring-collection-1 stussy-x-vault-by-vans-2014-spring-collection-2

Kopbox Celebrates 20 Years of the Supreme Box Logo

Supeme 1

With all the hype surrounding the seminal ‘box logo’ T-shirts that Supreme released for its 20th anniversary, retailer Kopbox dug into its archives to compile the various iterations the iconic logo has seen over the years. Some may fondly recall the collaborations with KAWS or A Bathing Ape, which may have been its first interaction with either brand – Supreme has done its fair share of trendsetting over the years. Yet digging further, the myriad two-toned, monogrammed, and straight up deconstructed versions of the ol’ box logo are a fond trip down memory lane for any fan. Enjoy samples here, then head to Kopbox’s site for the full archive.

Supreme 20th Anniversary Collection

supreme-20th-anniversary-collection-2-960x640New York skate brand Supreme celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. We actually like the fact that they keep it simple for this one. They could have done a series of high profile collaborations, but we get that from Supreme basically all year already. For their 20th anniversary the brand presents a Taxi Driver-inspired graphic T-shirt, their iconic box logo T-shirt, as well as both graphics on a skateboard deck. These two T-shirts were released on opening day 20 years ago and these two will be released for the occasion. And that’s it!
The Supreme 20th anniversary collection will release at its own stores in New York, Los Angeles, London and online on April 24, and in Japan on April 26.supreme-20th-anniversary-collection-6-960x640 supreme-20th-anniversary-collection-7-960x640 supreme-20th-anniversary-collection-5-960x640 supreme-20th-anniversary-collection-3-960x640

Comme des Garçons SHIRT x Supreme x Vans 2014 Spring/Summer Collection

20140310-120821.jpg

Comme des Garçons SHIRT and Supreme recently teamed to produce a special 2014 Spring/Summer Collection with Vans chiming in with a set of footwear offerings as well.

Using the same fabric Comme des Garçons used for the apparel items, Vans re-interpreted both the Sk8-Hi and the Era, incorporating the signature visual themes of the collection. The Era, appearing in both black and red, combines both white polka dot and stripes for the upper and features the Supreme tag stamped on the heel and Comme des Garçons SHIRT printed on the white rubber outsole. The Sk8-Hi features a similar upper while also paying a graphical tribute to late NYC skate legend Harold Hunter.
