Again sticking with the RIMOWA Topas Stealth, this season’s collaboration offers the iconic piece of luggage in two sizes. Each suitcase features the same riffled aluminum shell with polished and reinforced corners and comes complete TSA-approved locks set into the case, a telescopic handle, four independent wheels, and a unique serial number. The interior compartment is classic Moncler, with padded nylon lining each piece and a set of matching padded nylon pieces for your toiletries, dirty laundry, and shoes. Both sizes are available now at select Moncler boutiques.

Converse x Isolda Brazilian Print Collection

American footwear mainstay Converse teams up with Brazilian fashion brand Isolda on a sneaker range celebrating Brazil’s vibrant culture. The collaboration applies a bold palette of watercolors and exotic hues to three iconic sneaker silhouettes from the Converse archive – the Converse Chuck Taylor, the Converse CONS Auckland Racer and the Converse CONS Skidgrip. A total of nine different prints will be available exclusively in Brazil at select retailers including Dona Coisa in Rio De Janeiro and Cartell 001 in Sao Paulo.

Stone Island Thermo Sensitive Jacket & Knit

Stone Island have created two jackets using thermo-sensitive, color-changing technology for their Autumn Winter 2013 collection. The fabric is comprised of a water and wind resistant polyurethane film that is embedded with micro-encapsulated pigments, causing it to change color as the temperature changes. Available in two styles – the Ice Jacket-J is a collared button-up that uses the thermo-sensitive fabric all over, while the Knit features thermo-sensitive fabric on the torso, knit black sleeves and a hood. David Beckham x Belstaff

DAVID BECKHAM has designed a collection for British brand Belstaff – a menswear offering inspired by “reviving luxury moto classics that have been redefined by Beckham’s iconic personal style”. The former footballer will also star in the label’s 2014 global advertising campaign, photographed by Peter Lindbergh in rural Buckinghamshire.

The campaign depicts a “band of brothers” led by Beckham, travellelling around the English countryside on their motorbikes, something Beckham enjoys off-camera too.

“I’ve always loved motorbikes,” Beckham told us at the Belstaff store opening in London. “But I’ve never really been allowed to ride them. Obviously now that I’ve finished playing, it’s enabled me to spend more time on my bikes, which is great.”

The Beckham for Belstaff collection will launch exclusively at Belstaff stores worldwide and Belstaff.com in March 2014, and will then roll out with select global distribution in June 2014. Aitor Throup 2013 “New Object Research” Collection

This man is a fucking genius….It’s taken quite a while, but we’d say it was worth the wait. Aitor Throup‘s first full clothing collection has finally hit the shops seven years after his graduation from the Royal College of Art. “New Object Research” is the amalgamation and result of archetypal concepts that the Argentinian-born, London-based designer and artist has been exploring for a while now — stuff we’ve seen in his previous capsule collections like the Shiva skull bag, Skanda jacket and Saxophone shirt. His long fascination with the human anatomy and the evolution of his study of construction and fabrication have culminated in these convention breaking designs: an original zipper system, cutting-edge buttonhole technology, trousers that don’t finish at the ankles, out-of-this-world seams, and ergonomic sleeves that anticipate movement. Throup has even engaged a design firm to create rotating, 360-degree views of the pieces for his new website which will launch this Wednesday, October 16.

mi adidas Launches #sneakerswitch

For adidas Originals Autumn Winter 13, online customisation platform miadidas launches the #SneakerSwitch project and encouraging creativity and sharing by initiating a global sneaker exchange. The campaign will be kickstarted by Neil Armstrong, Daru Jones, Noel Clarke, Oliver Rath, Eddie Huang, Jenah Yamamoto and Originals fans who will share their flair and inspiration on a shoe, which will be gifted to someone in a different location.

#SneakerSwitch will then encourage the general public to join in by asking them to design a shoe and share it socially using #sneakerswitch #miadidas and #adidasoriginals hashtags. From photographers and DJs to artists and sneaker bloggers, the chance to receive a pair or design a pair for someone with influence is an exciting opportunity.
