Undefeated x Nike Lunar Force 1 Low SP

Nike-AF1-UNDFTD | The Style RaconteurLos Angeles based Undefeated started the year by hooking up the Nike Lunar Force 1 in two colorways. For the high top edition, the sneaker was given a red suede upper with the lows styled in a jacquard print.

The Undefeated union with Nike continues as the legendary shop has hooked up two low top editions of the Lunar Force 1 for October. The concept remains the same, shaggy suede and jacquard.

Playing off the colors that they used back in March, one of the sneakers is set in university red and white in a jacquard print while the second dons black shaggy suede. Unifying the two styles, each is mounted on a white speckled soles with UNDFTD signature orange on the lining. The duo are set to launch 14th November.

nike-free-orbit-ii-sp-polka-dot-pack-011

Nike presents us with an official look at its upcoming Nike Free Orbit II SP, the silhouette positioned as the followup to 2011′s Nike Lunar Orbit. Both designed by Nathan VanHook – the same Nike designer that was responsible for the Nike Air Yeezy 2. Resting on an ultra-flexible Free 5.0 sole, the slip-on has an avant-garde sensibility, with asymmetrical dimensions, raised geometric upper and a mesh vamp for added breathability. Side zip detailing allows for easy on and off, while a discreetly placed Swoosh on the toe offers the only bit of exterior branding.  Nike Free Orbit II SP Polka Dot Pack, set to launch September 25th at NikeLab locations and online, as well as select Nike retailers.

Following up on the Nike Lunar Orbit from 2011, which was by the way designed by Nathan VanHook – the same Nike designer that was responsible for the Nike Air Yeezy 2 – the brand presents this month the new Nike Free Orbit II SP. The slip-on sneaker comes with a full black upper and sits on a white Nike Free 5.0 outer sole. For easier entry there is a small side zipper. The pyramid stud upper reminds us of the recently released LunarTerra Arktos SP boots, which were also designed by VanHook. Look out for a release of the sneaker in the coming weeks from select retailers around the globe.

Nike Lunarmax Flyknit Chukka SP

nike-lunarmax-chukka-sp-1This is the first proper look of the soon to release Nike Lunarmax Flyknit Chukka SP. Essentially Nike put together the upper pf the popular Nike Flyknit Chukka with the outer sole of the just recently released Air Max Lunar90. The sneaker features NYC branding on the tongue, which can mean that they will exclusively release at the 21 Mercer store in New York or maybe they come as part of a larger city pack. Either way, I keep you posted.

To mark the opening of its Nike Berlin flagship store on Tauentzienstr, the athletic wear giant created a special color scheme based on last year’s Nike Air Max 1 SP “German Camo” from the popular  “Country Camo” Collection. Technically known as Flecktarn, or “Spotted Camouflage” in German, the disruptive pattern became a standard issue among the Heer (Army), the Luftwaffe (Air Force), and the Marine (Navy) of Germany by the early 1990s. Comes in variations of 3-, 4-, 5- and 6- color patterns, other nations also apply similar design to their combat uniforms, including India, China, and Japan.

50 pairs were made of this Nike Air Max 1 SP “Camo – Germany”, though sold to friends and family only. There will another opportunity still as Sneaker Freaker Germany and BEINGHUNTED hosts a giveaway this week. In the meantime, you can visit the new Nike Berlin West at Tauentzienstr. 9-12.nike-air-max-1-sp-camo-germany-friends-family-edition-03 nike-air-max-1-sp-camo-germany-friends-family-edition-04 nike-air-max-1-sp-camo-germany-friends-family-edition-05 nike-air-max-1-sp-camo-germany-friends-family-edition-08
