Tom Ford Autumn Winter 2013

tom-ford-2013-fall-collection-15

For his 2013 Autumn Winter collection, American-born designer Tom Ford channels quintessentially British sartorial-ism into the label’s silhouettes and designs. Assumingly inspired from his time spent living in the country, the apparent slim fitting suits and drainpipe pants, most of which come in classic check patterning, largely make up the upcoming collection while fur collar coats, understated sweaters and loud blazers are added to the mix. The looks overall tailor to the slim-fit gentleman who’ll fit right in with the mod crowd.

Tom Ford Soap

Only a designer like Tom Ford could make something as simple as bath soap look like it belongs in a museum. This hard-milled soap from his Neroli Portofino collection is formulated with nourishing Olive Fruit oil, Grape Seed oil, and Date Seed extract to keep your skin soft and lightly scented. At £25 for a 155 gram bar, the stuff is pricey….but really, it’s TOM FORD soap! It’s supposed to be luxurious in every way, especially price. Buy here

The glasses have minimal branding and feature a thin metal line at the folds. Available now here

Tom Ford Eyewear A/W 10

Imagine Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds only with a topless Danish supermodel in the Tippi Hedren role. Then you’ll get a pretty good idea of Tom Ford’s bizarre but brilliant eyewear campaign for autumn/winter 2010, shot by the designer turned director himself, which sees the bespectacled Hoult puckering up to a crow and Beha breastfeeding one. This follows on from the previous, no less eye-catching spring/summer campaign which saw the lucky A Single Man actor teamed with American supermodel Carolyn Murphy, the former showcasing a range of dinner jackets and the latter wearing nothing but a Miranda Kerr-style tan line (and glasses). If only Tom Ford did opticians… Buy here
