TSR on ‘I AM PACKED.com’

This is a feature that I’ve always loved on other blogs like ‘Essentials’ on Hype Beast but there has never been a specialist website for them. I AM PACKED is the latest project from Slamhype founder Adam Bryce, and provides hours of entertainment, fulfilling our voyeuristic tendencies. Born out of an obsession for travel, the site is a collection of images showing the contents of it’s contributor’s rucksacks. The variety of submissions ranges from Middlesbrough student Ben Benjasiriwan on a day trip to London, through to the international travels of Eric Lin as he packs for a trip from Los Angeles to Tokyo and now my good self..check it out here. This is a feature I am going to start uploading on here with a few of my friends and collegues of the industry so keep your eyes peeled.

But to avoid following the herd, try Jofama, a sophisticated Swedish brand and a leather specialist since 1926, soon to be available in the UK for the first time. The jackets in its so-called “Retro” collection come in several styles but all look as if like you’ve been living in them for more than a couple of seasons. Slightly worn in, perfect to wear out. Available here from September

1939 Rolls-Royce Phantom III Cabriolet

Whilst reading through the latest ‘thecoolest’ posts I came across this what a beautiful car…..In a world of plastic cars with hybrid heartbeats, the joy of driving is a dying art.  This 1939 Rolls-Royce Phantom III “Vutotal” Cabriolet by Labourdette recalls an era when driving was always an artful experience.  Yet this is not your standard Rolls Royce Phantom III, this is the result of a complete rebuild by the Parisian designer Henri Labourdette.  Labourdette tore the Phantom III down to the bones, adorning its body with gold plating and brass fixtures on a shape that stretched sensually from bumper to bumper.  The “vutotal” term comes from that heavy slice of glass that rests above the instrument panel, a sharply-squared windshield that sits in a welcome contrast to the curves below.

Folk Footwear AW10

Folk presents their latest range of footwear for Fall/Winter 2010. The UK brand presents several low, mid and high top styles for the new season. Next to their Armstrong mid top shoe, the Jamie boot is also a nice option for the colder days, featuring a suede upper and fur lining.
