The North Face Purple Label Spring Summer 2014 Camo Windbreaker & Shirt

the-north-face-purple-label-camo-windbreaker-and-shirt-01The North Face Purple Label reports back with two new offerings taken from its current Spring/Summer 2014 lineup. The Camouflage Mountain Wind Parka is crafted from a wind and water-resistant nylon taffeta fabric and comes with just the right amount of practical knick-knacks you can expect from a respected outdoor outfitter. On top of that, they throw in a matching long-sleeve button-up as well, made from COOLMAX fabric, providing unchallenged moisture management, and retaining a dry and comfortable wearing experience as a result.the-north-face-purple-label-camo-windbreaker-and-shirt-02 the-north-face-purple-label-camo-windbreaker-and-shirt-03 the-north-face-purple-label-camo-windbreaker-and-shirt-04 the-north-face-purple-label-camo-windbreaker-and-shirt-05 the-north-face-purple-label-camo-windbreaker-and-shirt-06

Thom Browne Oxford Sleeve Stripe Shirts Spring Summer 2013

From the new Thom Browne Spring Summer 2013 Collection they present the Oxford Sleeve shirts. You might think that these look exactly like the ones that you have seen in previous seasons in the New York designer’s collection. Well, there is one big difference – the stripes on the sleeves are not printed anymore, but from this season they are actually fabric embroidered onto the shirt sleeves. Still I would like to see these woven into the fabric which you’d expect from a brand like Thom Browne.

Mr Porter x Paul Smith Collection

Take Ivy and then give it a Paul Smith spin. Sir Paul has created a nine-piece, collegiate capsule collection for Mr Porter, the first of a series of designer collaborations with the e-tailer planned for this summer, others include Oliver Spencer, Orlebar Brown, Rag & Bone and YMC. Check out the collection here

Reigning Champ x Haven

Reigning Champ and Haven are at it again with their fifth collaboration which also coincides with the respected boutique’s fifth anniversary. The new Camouflage Capsule collection remixes Reigning Champ’s Oxfords and Tees with camo details in the lining of the shirts and camo patches on the tees.

Gitman Vintage AW10

Italian online shop and magazine Unotre has a great feature on Gitman Bros. In addition to their exploration and knowledgeable report of the brand, Unotre also features the Gitman Vintage Autumn/Winter 2010 collection. According to them, The Vintage collection is divided into two lines: “Seasonal Collection”, which proposes a specific year models of the past, and the “Classic Collection”, which provides continuous fabric that’s available all year round. The “Seasonal Collection” is the revival of the collection that was available from Gitman in 1982. Oxford, chambray, cotton flannel: the materials are of high quality and durability.

APC Flannel Shirt

You may have already gotten a look at the full Fall/Winter 2010 collection from A.P.C. last month, but now that they are officially in shops, we’re finally starting to get up close with some of the pieces. Jean Touitou appears to have strayed a little further from the subtle military influence this season and instead favouring a style that’s arguably a little bit more British than French. Plaids, argyles, bow ties and corduroys round out the collection, though we’re particularly fond of the workwear inspired cotton flannel above. Available here
