Nike Blazer Mid Premium Vintage “Safari” Collection

IMG_2841.JPG

Nike aren’t hiding the fact they are bringing trying to bring the Blazer back. I know they never really went away but when was the last time you bought a pair? Exactly because the All Saints wearing trendy ‘lad’ got hold of them but now they have Huaraches to buy in every colour way and shuffle all the way to Marbs!!!!, it just maybe time to invest in a Blazer or two. Here Nike presents three new looks that draw inspiration from the wild with the forthcoming Blazer Mid Premium Vintage ”Safari” collection. Each pair features a vulcanized sole and draws elements from the safari to create a distinctive, themed aesthetic. One pair represents a leopard, blending a full-grain black leather upper with a leopard print, pony-hair Swoosh, heel tab, and tongue. Another, inspired by the snake, features a mahogany, nubuck upper and snake-inspired accents on the Swoosh and heel. The last (pictured first in the gallery) pair ties the collection together, illustrating the entangled environment of the jungle itself. Covered in a camouflage underlay, it features green TPU overlays, meant to resemble vines. The new Blazer “Safari” collection is available now HERE

Nike Air Safari 2014

nike-air-safari-green-abyss-white-january-2014-2-570x350The Nike Air Safari has been moving along at a pretty good clip since about a year and a half ago when the 25th anniversary stuff hit stores.  The namesake print has been everywhere (most notably, last week’s AF1/Foamposite pack) and now we see this classic Tinker Hatfield design readying for more new looks in 2014.  These Green Abyss and black pairs show the Air Safari in an especially clean new blocking template that suggests there’s still plenty more where that came from, so check out both pairs in more detail below, then pre-order yours in advance of a mid January delivery from Concept by Cruise. Keep your eye for a mustard & maroon colourway as well which will complete the pack.

Since making its debut in the spring of 2012, Nike Sportswear‘s Roshe Run has undoubtedly become one of the stars of Nike‘s ever-growing stable of minimalist footwear. Now, following the release of part 1 of its “Urban Safari” pack – featuring the Air Max Light alongside the mid-top Toki – UK retailer size? has tapped the plush, lightweight silhouette for the second installment of its ACG-inspired collection. Unlike the recently-released tonal “Safari” pack, size?’s take on the Roshe applies the classic pattern only to the upper’s leather Swoosh as speckling dots the entirety of the Solarsoft-topped Phylon sole. As with the first release, the “Urban Safari” editions of the Roshe appear in Sand/Hyper Blue-Crimson and Black/Poison Green-Pink colorways. Look for both to be available in-store and online beginning Friday, June 14 for £80

size? looks to Nike’s late ’80s legacy and footwear history for inspiration in their upcoming retailer exclusive Urban Safari Pack. Counting several different elements of Nike such as ACG and the seminal Air Safari, Lava High and Mowabb, an upcoming collection takes these inspirations and applies them appropriately via two initial releases involving the Air Max Light and Toki. The pack’s colorways include ‘desert sand/hyper blue/total crimson’ and ‘black/poison green/pink’ with a release date set for Friday, June 7. The Air Max Light is priced at £100 and £65 for the Toki
