Beauty & Youth Red wing ‘Crazy Oxford’ for United Arrows 25th Annversary

Red-Wing-Beauty-Youth-United-Arrows-Crazy-Oxford-0United Arrows celebrate their 25th anniversary by doing what they do best – creating sweet collaboration products that most of us can’t get our hands on. Here sub-label Beauty & Youth pick-up on the rebirth of the crazy colorway and apply it to the Red WingOxford, a personal favourite of ours that offers all the sturdiness of a boot whilst allowing you to show off your socks. Here the familiar Oro Russet red leather is played against a yellow suede, interesting but certainly not wacky. Find them at your local United Arrows or Beauty & Youth – if you’re lucky enough to have one close by

Concepts x Red Wing Plain Toe Boots

20131121-090103.jpg

Boston retailer Concepts continues with its high profile collaborations. After having worked with Fila, Clarks and with The North Face recently, the store has now teamed up with Red Wing on the Plan Toe Boot. The boots come in two colourways, featuring extremely soft suede uppers. The whole leather/suede upper has been tumble washed to give it a soft touch and “deconstructed” feel. The entire boot, including the toe, is unlined, adding to the soft and unconstructed look and feel of the unique collaboration. The navy and red colors of the boots will release exclusively at Concepts, starting November 23.

Red Wing ‘Work Oxford’ Shoes

Available in two colorways, tan and grey, are these Red Wing ‘Work Oxford’ Shoes. They retain the trademark durability of Red Wing shoes and classic styling of the 875 and 877 moc-toe boots. They’re both suede, and the grey version is the one that’s tickling our fancy now. Hurry, before all the good sizes are gone.

Red Wing Shoes ‘101D’ Postman Oxford

We’ve seen a mini explosion of sorts in the popularity of the postman style, and Red Wing’s offering has to be one of the most solid.

The shoes feature the same classic style and comfort that kept the postman looking sharp all day long back in the 1950s. The uppers are made from sturdy ‘chaparral’ leather, that is not only durable for the daily grind, but has a finish that is easy to bring to a glossy shine.

The postman of the 1950s was used to spending the whole day on his feet, so comfort was one of the aspects of these shoes. The insoles are made from mouldable leather that conform to your feet, while the rubber cushion wedge soles provide all the comfort needed.

Lastly, if you’re wondering why there’s a SR/USA tag sticking out, it’s to certify that the soles are slip resistant.

Red Wing Shoes AW11 Sky High Boot

Set to debut later this year within the 2011 winter calendar is a new iteration of Red Wing Shoes’iconic moccasin work boot. With a storied past, the boot eschews the usual earthy colours for a bold version in blue suede and a higher cut than conventional offerings.
