Oi Polloi x Baracuta G9 Harrington Jacket

oi-polloi-x-baracuta-g9-harrington-jacket-1Baracuta teams up with Manchester-based boutique Oi Polloi to offer a special edition G9 heritage jacket inspired by international motor racing. Tracing back to the Gordon Bennett Cup of 1903, when each national racing team required an individual colour, and red, white and blue was already allotted to Italy, Germany and France, it was only appropriate that Britain paid respect to its Irish hosts by selecting shamrock green — the colour was darkened over time and became British Racing Green.

Clarks Originals x Oi Polloi Unicorn Leather Wallabee Pack

Clarks and Oi Polloi have continued their work together with creative directors Steve Sanderson and Nigel Lawson creating their own interpretation of the iconic Wallabee. Maintaining the timeless aesthetic of the shoe they applied a special material, a “Unicorn Leather”, the name given to elk hides by the specialized tannery that produces them. The finish is supple and is highlighted by individual marks and defects, the “Unicorn Leather” is also dyed with aniline and tumbled for up to 12 hours to create the unique look. Produced in Dijon and Wasabi colorways, the Clarks Originals x Oi Polloi Unicorn Leather Wallabee Pack is available now

Oi Polloi x Clarks Wallabee

On the tail of numerous collaborations alongside other fashion brands, Oi Polloi took the unmistakable Clarks Wallabee and added a personal touch via two brand new colorways. Slated for release in 2012 at the shop in Manchester, a light tan and pale green edition will be available in the classic silhouette, which also features a standard gum sole and bold stitching around the toebox

Henri Lloyd X Oi Polloi

Long-time fan and stockist of Henri Lloyd, the anticipated collaboration between Oi Polloi and Henri Lloyd is here. Originally designed by the founder of Henri Lloyd, Henri Strzelecki back in the 1960’s the Consort Round the World Race and Viking Smock jackets are being reintroduced as part of the joint venture. Both designed for sailing, The waterproof Viking Smock is composed of Bri-Nylon in four striking colorways of yellow, orange, white and royal blue, whilst the Consort RWR jacket is the work of legendary Italian designer Olmes Carretti and comes in three nautical colorways: lavender, navy and sky blue. Made from the same material as the Viking, a nice contrast to the more traditional fabrics like wax cotton which have been seemingly omnipresent of late, the Consort is given the formal touch of a cord collar. The re-issued jackets are cut to a slimmer, more tailored silhouette when compared with the original jackets and are now available from Oi Polloi.
