Nike continues to release colourful new versions of its classic for the summer months. The “Beaches of Rio” Pack was a first move in that direction and now they follow up with the new Classic Cortez Nylon QS “Aloha” Pack. The iconic low top sneaker from Nike returns this season with nylon uppers in bold colors, featuring all-over flower prints.

Nike Blazer Nylon Hi Electrolime Colourway

Of all the retro styles to undergo Nike’s pre-yellowed vintage treatment, it appears the Blazer is on the receiving end of that particular honour more frequently than most. It makes sense — the Blazer was born in 1973, after all, and its spartan, no-frills design certainly evokes a simpler time. A new Electrolime colorway, however, makes the case that the sneaker is just as relevant today as it was in the polyester ’70s. Built with a ballistic nylon upper in an appealing neon green hue that highlights the shoe’s clean lines, the Vintage Nylon Blazer Hi is available for pre-order from Nike stockists.

Stone Island Resin Canvas Jacket

Regular readers of TSR will know that I am a massive fan of Stone Island and in particular their outerwear. The brand has had its fair share of bad press in the late 90’s and early 00’s with its association with football violence but the brand is now starting to gain a new following with the cooler kids on the street. They are attracted to the amazing technical features and fabrics but most of all their styling and the canny knack of getting the colours spot on season after season. Autumn Winter 2011 is no exception as you can see with their ‘Resin Canvas Jacket’. The jacket features a fixed hood, double cotton lining, and a front zip fastening. Available in Bluette and both Jade & Lime Green. Available here for a snip at £395
