Hot off the heels from Air Max Day, Nike continues to churn out iterations of its classic line of Air Max sneakers. Honoring the unique occasion, Nike has released a special pair of Nike Air Max 1 Ultra Moires, clad in a white/white colorway. Nike has unveiled the latest dual-colour iteration of its Air Max 1 silhouette. This time around the shoe receives a contrasting black/flat silver premium upper, sitting atop of a white midsole. The simplicity of the design is enriched through the tonal branding of the swoosh and black lacing, while the inner lining, heel branding, and nubuck mudguard get the secondary colour treatment.
Following the release of the wheat-colored Air Force 1′s and Foamposite One’s, the latest silhouette to receive the “Wheat” treatment is the Air Max 1 shoe. NIKE YOU GOTTA PRODUCE THESE…..MSTRPLN brings to life a concept throwing some of Nike’s most iconic designs of years past together with some more recent advanced shoe technology in what he is calling the Flyknit Racer Lunar Max. The upper uses the beloved and cozy king Nike Flyknit Racer while the sole goes with the recent Lunar Air Max 1 technology. Throw a speckled midsole on top of that and you can go ahead and take our money now. While this is still a concept illustration done by MSTRPLN there must be something in the pipeline.
Nike continues to roll out new iterations of its iconic Air Max 1 sneaker, with this Spring 2014 release appropriately landing during the week of “Air Max Day.” This version features a large perforated mesh upper complemented by tight-knit mesh fabric on the lower part, while a tape Swoosh and detailing provides a modern feel. Three colourways include a season appropriate orange/white/pink, and more muted purple/white/grey and dusty red/grey. Look for the new season’s offerings to drop at Nike Sportswear retailers in the coming weeks.
Nike will soon release the above Air Max 1. The sneaker is a continuation of the previously released Country Camo Pack by the brand. Featuring a seamless lower part and a canvas upper with the classic US desert combat camouflage pattern all-over, the limited edition sneaker will come to select retailers across the globe this weekend. The tonal branding and outer sole give the sneaker a very clean overall appearance. You can be sure that these will go fast, so keep an eye for the drop at your local sneaker store.
Nike presents another bold new colourway for its relatively young Air Max 2014 silhouette. Sporting a stimulating “Vivid Blue” hue, the sneaker features an articulated full-length Max Air unit as well as the brand’s innovative engineered mesh upper and a lighter Waffle pattern outsole that has been redesigned to distribute your weight more evenly. The “Vivid Blue” colorway of Nike’s Air Max 2014 is now available at SOTO Berlin
Continuing the theme from its “Country Camo” pack, Nike has given its recently introduced Nike Air Max 90 Sneakerboot a makeover with desert camo. Using the same camo pattern seen on the Air Max 90 “Country Camo UK,” this model features a mid-cut Hyperfuse upper with a tonal internal bootie, matching laces and branding, and a tonal midsole. Early next year Nike introduces this new ‘ICE’ take on the classic Air Max 90 running SKU. The model gets its name from the translucent features incorporated into its new design, particularly the outsole. Pictured here in the red/neon colourway, the shoe features a red synthetic upper with a tonal crystalline pattern of geometric shapes and matching tonal laces. Just in time for the Party Season Nike drops the “Disco Ball” Air Max 1 for women. (not that, that bothers us anymore) Comprised of tiny metallic silver windows against an ice blue underlay, the shoe runs the same metallic silver Swoosh and black outsoles for each pair. Black accents, ice blue eyelets and matching metallic ice blue laces finish the festive colourway off. The Nike “Disco Ball” Air Max 1 releases December 12 at Nike Quickstrike accounts.
