Stussy x Honda

Pushing the boundaries of collaboration a little further than the norm, Stussy Japan has partnered with Honda for a one-off CRF250L motorbike. This dirt bike is an all-rounder that can be used on the streets and will feel comfortable on dirt tracks as well. Japanese motorcycle tuning garage Thruxton was given the responsibility to customize this bike. Unfortunately, this item is not for sale, but it is currently on display at Stussy Harajuku Chapter, followed by Osaka Minami Chapter, beginning mid-September. To commemorate the collaboration project, Stussy will be dropping a pair of t-shirts at the participating Stussy stores in Japan.

Yosuke Aizawa of White Mountaineering excels in pattern work, and we occasionally see the designer apply that expertise even on his brand’s technical outerwear. A perfect example is this lightweight mid-length parka, its cotton/polyester shell finished with an intricate art deco design. The Japanese made garment has taped seams for weather resistance, and features an adjustable hood, self-colored zip chest pocket and buttoned cuffs. Zip-front closure with snap buttons plus a center back vent round out the details.

Drug Store Beams Collection

BEAMS is a multifaceted fashion giant in Tokyo, catering predominantly for the casual wear segment. Within their company, they established bpr BEAMS back in 1992 to tackle non-fashion related products. Now, bpr BEAMS is launching an exciting new line dubbed, DRUG STOREBEAMS. The concept of this line is to create tongue in cheek stationery goods with a medical theme. It’s premiere products revolve around the idea of ‘Grotesque but Cute’, where eyeballs, brain, bones, heart and other medical equipments are transformed into pens, key chains, highlighter markers and stress balls. This line is definitely experimental, however it should find its niche in the diverse Japanese market. All of the products are available at BEAMS stores Japan wide right now.
