In its fourth season now, we take a look at the new DKNY for Opening Ceremony Fall/Winter 2014 Collection. Heavily inspired by 90s hip hop, the golden era, the collection was once again curated by downtown stylist Jay Massacret and offers a set of bold looks, using large DKNY Athletic logos and lots of metallic silver. Archive DKNY pieces are recreated and come back with a modern touch in this popular capsule for both men and women.

Hip Hop Playing Cards

When the playing cards come out its either a wax coated all singing all dancing pack I acquired from a casino in Vegas or my mate brings out the dog eared set showcasing 70’s Nanna’s & Grandad’s having sexy time (you know who you are)…..Not any more!!! These Hip Hop Playing Cards are all awesome. Each card in the deck features a hip hop icon drawn by Sayori Wada ready for you to bust out on your next straight or royal flush. Just avoid the temptation to break out some lyrics when you lay one of them down.

Also collaborating on the effort is Classic Material, a collective of music makers, designers and photographers based in the UK. The result is six limited edition T-shirts that feature the likes of Big Daddy Kane, MC Lyte, Flava Flav, Kool Moe Dee and Demon Boyz, and rounding out the offering is a tee which boasts the Classic Material logo. Look for the collection to be available at Foot Patrol in London in the coming weeks.
