Nike Sock Dart by fragment design

I f*cking love this!! This silhouette is one of my favourites Hiroshi Fujiwara and his fragment design team has worked on. Having inspired silhouettes from the Nike HTM collection in the early 2000s already, the Nike Sock Dart returns this season in a refreshed fragment design look, after having been officially released in 2004. At the time way ahead, the Sock Dart was the first sneaker ever to be made with computerized knitting technology. The market now finally seems ready for it and we are excited to see it back in the collection. The sneaker features a dark olive woven upper and a transparent, silicone lockdown strap in lieu of laces. It looks like the fragment design x Nike Sock Dart will come as part of a pack of sneakers designed by fragment design, including also the Nike Roshe LD-1000 SP and the Air Jordan 1.

Fragment Design x Nike Sportswear Air Magma

Fragment Design’s latest handy work is a collaboration with none other than Nike Sportswear on an exclusively designed Air Magma. Reworking the ACG classic model, only a few subtle changes were made. Catching the eyes on first glance are the yellow side zippers, which have never been done on Air Magma before. Apart from that, the grey suede uppers, white midsoles and black outsoles balance each other effortlessly. Perforated inner lining is also another nice touch, as are the white speckled shoe laces that lighten up the exterior.

Nike Sportswear x Fragment Design Zoom All Court 2 Low Leopard Pack

I’ve already commented on the vast number of fragment design and Nike releases we have seen in the past week, so without further adieu, here’s another. This is the Nike Zoom All Court 2 Low ‘Leopard’ Pack, featuring three colorways of the low top sneaker. Due for a Tier 0 release in the next few months. One of my favourite fragment design x Nike projects yet!

Supreme X Fragment Design X Nike Sportswear All Court..Sneak Peek

Headed by Japanese trendsetter Hiroshi Fujiwara‘s fragment design, the reincarnation of Nike Sportswear All Court will be part of a triumvirate as Supreme joins the party. Devoid of the majority of Nike insignias, including the Swoosh, this first non-Nike SB creation for Supreme looks to be available in 3 simple color schemes on canvas.  The part which stood out the most in the repetitive sequence of both Supreme and fragment design’s logos through the shoe’s upper.  Because of this feature, very uncharacteristic of Hiroshi Fujiwara, who’s long preferred simplistic design over everything else, many are questioning if these are authentic or really well made imitations: Freshness

Fragment Design x Nike Sportswear

Fragment Design team up yet again with Nike in the creation of a pack of Air Zoom All Court Premiums. The three-pack feature an almost all-white upper with colours relegated to the rear of the shoe and the tongue. Its the finishes in the uppers that make these a must have. Slated for an weekend drop at the NSW at Head Porter Plus store, it will be joined by the release of the Nike Sportswear 2010 fall/winter collection.
