Big feet. Stop reading now! Nike Flyknit Racer Turquoise/White/Black

At this year’s recent IAAF World Championship in Moscow, Nike‘s sponsored athletes were treated to a selection of performance silhouettes in a bold gamma blue colorway. Now it looks like weekend athletes will be able to imitate the look of their favorite track & field athletes with this turquoise/white/black colorway of the Flyknit Racer. This racer sports a sporty turqoise and black Flyknit upper with a white Swoosh and white midsole with black trim. This latest colorway is set to hit select stockists later this year.

Nike Flyknit Trainer+ Black White

The innovative Flyknit Trainer+ receives a new colourway that offers a more subtle option relative to its original releases. The sneaker’s dot-matrix weave at the toe gives the silhouette added texture while the two-toned black and white knitted upper is contrasted by a solid black “Swoosh” and black trim around the opening — a streak of black down the Nike Zoom cushioned sole completes the look. Known for its lightweight, material-saving design, the Flyknit uses a single layer upper that contours to the shape of the foot to deliver impressive support when needed.

Nike Sportswear HTM Flyknit Chukka

Having enjoyed a successful introduction, here is a look at the latest addition featuring the Nike Flyknit technology. The Nike Sportswear HTM Flyknit Chukka Preview makes an exciting release with a pale blue and white blended upper placed on a Lunar outsole. With the combination of HTM and Flyknit technology really thriving, you can expect more releases of the shoe to come.

Nike Independent Olympic Athlete Uniforms

So the opening ceremony made me pretty proud to be British, I didnt think we had it in us to produce an OC that would stand side by side with the best. Anyhow two things that I found myself doing during it was a: hanging my head in shame at the amount of countries that I didnt know excisted & b: getting excited to see the team ‘uniforms’ Ralph for USA, Armani for Italy good auld Stella for GB etc etc..so the imo the best was by far Independent Olympic Athletes which Nike provided unique  uniforms for the whole team (all 4 of them!) competing in the London 2012 Games as Independent Olympic Athletes (IOA), individuals whose home nations have undergone shifting borders and governments and currently do not have their own National Olympic Committees. Three of the athletes are from the Netherlands Antilles (yep another I have never heard of!) — Philipine van Aanholt (Sailing), Liemarvin Bonevacia (400m) and Reginald de Windt — while the fourth, marathon runner Guor Marial (who will be competing in the men’s marathon on August 12th), hails from the new nation of South Sudan. In addition to competition and warm-up footwear and apparel, Nike has created an Opening and Closing ceremonies consisting of an M65 sportswear jacket and specially adapated Nike Flyknit running shoes, both featuring Olympic rings and IOA logos. The finishing piece takes the form of a knit scarf in Olympic colours, featuring quotes from young people Nike has worked with through its “Access to Sport” program.
