Dries Van Noten Canvas/Leather Sneaker

Dries Van Noten makes use of an interesting textile for its latest Spring Summer 2012 Canvas Sneakers. As the straightforward moniker implies, the pair sports a brown canvas upper that is juxtaposed against a dark navy blue vinyl on the toecap and heel. The off-white rubber outsole is rounded out by an interior tan leather lining, black shoe laces and brushed metal hardware. Available here

Always the first Runway show I check it is Dries, this Autumn Winter 2012 Collection makes for a profound balance between interesting patterns and block colors, each defined the clean and minimal critique the Belgian designer is renowned for. The patterns are bold and vibrant with jungle and floral themes while cuts are timeless with coats and jackets well tailored providing a great contrast for each other.
