Clae Strayhorn Spring Summer 2012

20120315-183618.jpg

CLAE share a look into the new colorways of their midtop Strayhorn for Spring/Summer 2012. The Strayhorn features various full grain leathers and rich suede uppers on a modern cupsole and come in several different color options. If you ask us, the above red suede is a strong choice. I like these mainly because of the shape but also there are a cool alternative to kicks & a desert boot. Available now on http://www.clae.com.

Clarks Originals for Beams Desert Boot

While it’s been a tough week for Clarks lover Vybz Kartel – he’ll be exchanging Clarks for cigarettes if convicted – but he should look on the bright side, his favourite shoe company has done a great collab! We’re sure that’s all the good news he needs right now. Clarks and Beams have created an exact replica of the original desert boot, making it in an orange so sharp it’ll slice a coconut.

Common Projects Desert Boot 1209 43 1039

Inspired by utilitarian design and luxury products, Common Projects sets out to create minimalist design basics and accessories.  The stand out style for me from the Spring Summer 2011 collection is the Red colourway of the Desert Boots A sick design, featuring nubuck uppers and a contrast grey mid-sole unit. Of course they continue to use their trademark product code on the outside of the shoe (1209 43 1039 in this case). If the red is for you they are available in Blue or Khaki too. Produced for the 2010 Fall/Winter season, this new development to the latest Originals roster comes in two different textile versions, including black and mahogany leather versions and three different suede options, with a pair of the suede above serving as a preview into this upcoming release. Stay tuned for further looks in the coming weeks
