As “shaken, not stirred” enthusiasts wait for the 23rd James Bond release, Skyfall, to hit theaters in November, Coca-Cola has unveiled a series of commemorative cans and bottles to mark the occasion. Marked on Coke Zero bottles, the campaign aims to encourage viewers to “Unlock the 007 In you” and discover the secret agents in themselves, “by sipping a diet version of the legendary beverage.” It’s not the first time the brand is supporting films from the Bond franchise – as the partnership between Coca-Cola Zero and James Bond started in 2008 during Quantum of Solace. Expect to see these sleek versions from the storied beverage maker on shelves very shortly
Just shortly after having shown you the upcoming Bape x PLAY COMME des GARCONS Collection, here is a look at another interesting project. Created by design student Ashley Shen, we can actually not confirm at this point wether or not the project is becoming reality, yet it looks so great that we wanted you to see it.
Ahsley Shen created designs for a limited edition collaboration between Coca-Cola and PLAY COMME des GARCONS. Presented are three designs, that package the classic Coke can in the PLAY design. We would certainly love for these to be released.
Continuing on from the last project between Coca-Cola and Daft Punk, the two have worked on another limited edition project to great effect. Highlighted by 925 silver and 18k gold logo branding in addition to “Daft Punk” custom caps this makes for a very impressive outcome. Strongly inspired by the helmets that we associate with the techno duo there are only 20 sets in productiond worldwide so check out DaftCoke.com and be quick, very quick.
Following a successful collaboration with Mika in 2010, soft drink giant Coca-Cola partners up with another major act in 2011 as they introduce the Daft Punk x Coca-Cola “Club Coke”. Produced in two distinctive colorways, mimicking the helmets worn by the French duo, the gold and silver bottles will see a limited production run beginning in March 2011. In addition to the general release at clubs, the bottles will be packaged in a collector’s box as a set, made available in exclusively through colette in Paris. Further information on this collaboration will become available through Daftcoke.com, which goes live in a few months.
