Kopbox Celebrates 20 Years of the Supreme Box Logo

Supeme 1

With all the hype surrounding the seminal ‘box logo’ T-shirts that Supreme released for its 20th anniversary, retailer Kopbox dug into its archives to compile the various iterations the iconic logo has seen over the years. Some may fondly recall the collaborations with KAWS or A Bathing Ape, which may have been its first interaction with either brand – Supreme has done its fair share of trendsetting over the years. Yet digging further, the myriad two-toned, monogrammed, and straight up deconstructed versions of the ol’ box logo are a fond trip down memory lane for any fan. Enjoy samples here, then head to Kopbox’s site for the full archive.

LN-CC Levi’s Red Archive

20131107-153931.jpg

First introduced in 1999, LEVI’S RED is a premium concept collection by Levi Strauss and Co. that is dedicated to reinventing the iconic Levi’s 5-pocket jean and proposing new forms and aesthetics for jeanswear. LEVI’S RED garments are notorious for being experimental, technical, and complicated to manufacture.

Ahead of the launch of the first LEVI’S RED collection to be released in seven years, which will be available worldwide exclusively at LN-CC.COM, LN-CC have curated a selection of key pieces from the first ever LEVI’S RED 1999 collection. Entitled ‘Twisted RED’, the collection was a turning point in reinventing the classic 5-pocket jean and a seminal moment in the evolution of denim – paving the way for eight RED collections over the past 15 years. Sneaker Freaker Museum Website

Melbourne based sneaker publication Sneaker Freaker is not playing around at all with their latest web venture, The Sneaker Freaker Museum. Their slogan is “Every Sneaker! Every Colour! Ever Made!” and if that is an indication of their goal, they are off to a great start with 7,145 sneakers archived into their website already. The interactive platform showcases the sneakers by brands, Top 10 voted and randomized to filter through the archive for efficient searching functionality. It has taken the Sneaker Freaker crew two hard years of scanning catalogs and taking photos, and finally it is up for the public to see. Best of all the site is welcoming contribution from the public so that the online museum will be the most thorough archive available for sneaker heads.
