Back in June, Ace Hotel Group announced the launch of their first European location in London’s Shoreditch. As it nears its opening date this September, the hotel releases a couple of images of the immaculately designed interior which also shows off their conscious efforts to cater to local culture.
The design approach for the hotel focuses on partnerships with makers that use traditional UK craftsmanship. The lobby is home to a flower shop by Hattie Fox, a cafe put on by Square Mile Coffee Roasters and a full restaurant and bar run by David Waddington and Pablo Flack of Bistrotheque. If you’re still not intrigued, beds come with quilts designed by French label A.P.C. and staff uniforms were crafted in partnership with designers like John Smedley, Assembil, and Gloverall. Ace Hotel continues to provide design and experiences totally unexpected in the hospitality world. I suggest a stay if you find yourself in London. Make a reservation here.
