Saucony is gearing up for the release of its upcoming “Scoops Pack,” having released the first teaser image. Set to consist of two silhouettes — the G9 Shadow 5 and G9 Shadow 6 — find pictured above the Mint Chocolate Chip G9 Shadow 6. The sneaker flaunts a mint-tinted suede upper, which features black suede streaks. A sky blue midsole complements the tint body, and rests over a gum bottom sole. Looking forward to the other colourways. Available May 1, which is my birthday so if my girlfriend is read….hint hint!

Saucony ‘Cavity’ Pack

Saucony‘s “Cavity” pack, which consists of the Shadow 5000 and Shadow Original, is gearing up for its official launch in the coming days. Offering up two new colorways, the “Minty Fresh” rendition features a suede and mesh mint green upper with hits of red at the collar, tongue and eyelets. The “Black Razz,” on the other hand, sees a suede, leather and mesh upper executed in black and pink as a nod to its raspberry and licorice-inspired design. Both iterations rest atop a contrasting white midsole and black rubber outsole. The Saucony “Cavity” Pack will be available at select retailers on Tuesday.

These three colourways of the Saucony Grid 9000 have been well received. Saucony is in a good place, they don’t saturate the market with kicks but sit back and drop selective premium SKU’s. Play Cloths x Saucony Shadow 5000 Cotton Candy Pack

play-cloths-x-saucony-shadow-5000-cotton-candy-pack-1If the Play Cloths and Saucony collab that together built the Shadow 5000 “Precious Metals” pack, was a little too futuristic to you, perhaps this one will leave you feeling a little more at home. Dubbed the “Cotton Candy” pack, this trio of kicks plays off of the universal love for the powdery good stuff, which we swore we could live off of as kids. Using three sugary sweet colorways, including Dream Blue, Mimosa, and Coral Almond, the two brands successfully blend suede uppers with a contrasting white midsole and tonal laces and special-edition liners to build the perfect summer shoe. The set will be releasing in limited numbers in the coming weeks, with those who have the Swaag iPhone App (a free download) among the first able to own a pair followed by a wider release.

Saucony Grid 9000

Originally released in the fall of 1994, Saucony‘s classic Grid 9000 was once a benchmark for stability and motion control. And, despite almost two decades of innovation, the silhouette remains as relevant today as a casual sneaker and favorite canvas of countless collaborations. New for Spring/Summer 2013 are new iterations of the retro favorite in updated colorways — navy/citron, tan/brown and grey/citron — that hearken back to the ’90s with their vibrant accents on multi-paneled uppers.

White Mountaineering x Saucony Courageous

Fresh off their inaugural partnership earlier this year, White Mountaineering and Saucony are once again at the center of a collaborative sneaker. Moving on from the previous Jazz, the Courageous model from Saucony will feature in three different colorways. Largely tonal in its appropriation, the shoes take on a more technical approach with a greater number of overlays and minimalistic TPU heel counter. Look for availability at select retailers soon.
