With an undeniable design aesthetic pulled from 90s hip-hop/sportswear culture, monochromatic pieces include tees, pants, jumpsuits, hooded sweatshirts and more. In speaking about the project Carol Lim commented, “DKNY was a pioneer of streetwear fashion in the Nineties. We have been longtime fans of the brand and were very excited to bring back select, quintessential styles that feel fresh even today.” The entire range of products that make up the collaboration can be purchased online for between $145-$315 USD

H&M Autumn Winter 2012 Lookbook

Despite being categorized under the umbrella of “fast fashion,” H&M has always maintained a decidedly high-end approach to its seasonal lookbooks, imagery and visuals. Presenting its Winter 2012 range, the Swedish retail and fashion giant debuts a minimalist and cleaned up pictorial highlighting its range of menswear. For this season, the brand initially displays an affinity for all things formalwear via tailored blazers, skinny ties and knitwear. While overtones of formal garb are heavily promoted.Obviously the swing to streetwear is is there in Letterman jackets & hoodies. Dont expect any of these items to be amazing quality or last more than a season..

Maharishi Autumn Winter 2012

Inspired by the US Army Air Force uniforms of 1947, Maharishi presents its Autumn Winter ’12 collection. The collection touts technical characteristics such as waterproof wool outerwear while impressive bag pieces with quilted surfaces complement the sharp lines and fashion forward attitude of the line.

Givenchy Minotaur Print T-Shirt

Thom Grey Varsity Jacket

So Thom Brown is going all diffusion and grey on us… Thom Grey is going to be 40-50% cheaper that its Brown counterpart. One of the first garments to emerge is this Stripped Varsity Jacket. It features grey and charcoal strips on the wool body, white leather arms, a snap button closure, three white slit pockets with snap finishes, large Grey logo on the back…jury is still out for me, think it looks a lil Jack Wills!!

The Great British Fashion Stamp Set

The Royal Mail launches their latest theme collection of official stamps. The “Great British Fashion Stamp Set” collects garments and styles from 10 local fashion houses including Paul Smith, Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen – all beautifully photographed by Sølve Sundsbø with clean silhouettes.

Happy Birthday TSR

April 2010, I decided I wanted to start a blog somewhere I could catalogue product I like…pulling together posts from the 30-40 blogs I read on a  regular basis and adding in some insight to my day job as a menswear buyer, So 20th April I did my first post The Sneaker Colouring Book  so here we are 2 years and over 1200 posts later! I still cant get my head around thousands of people a day looking at TSR. So thank you to each and everyone of you for the love over the last two years and I hope I can keep you interested for many more to come.

Supreme X Vans MC Sneaker : Spring 2012

Similar to last year’s Spring,  will usher in the month of March with brand new renditions of the  . Now known as VANS MC, the updated designs include suede nubuck upper, a reflective tongue with Supreme’s logo in script form, and the ubiquitous vulcanized waffle outsole. There are no “appendages”, no high-tech embellishments, just a simple shoe made with the purpose of skating in mind. Available in four exclusive Supreme colorways of White, Royal Blue, Red, and Black, all will be on sale starting this Thursday, March 8th, at Supreme’s locations in New York, Los Angeles, London as well as its online store.
