As shown in the latest installment of Japanese footwear magazine SHOES MASTER Vol. 23, Supreme offers an exclusive look at their upcoming collaboration with Nike SB as they reveal their iteration on the dated GTS model. Popular amongst skateboarders in the early 90s and having been originally released as a tennis shoe under the Nike Sportswear division, the vulcanized low-tops come equipped with herringbone uppers in black, white, yellow and red with a denim option available in a mid-blue chambray. The shoes bear a calligraphic Supreme logo embroidered across their heel-counters with Nike branding being reserved to the leather heel-tab, tongue and miniaturized swoosh which has become a familiar detail to the GTS model.
The collaboration is expected to release late May of this year and will be available directly from Supreme.
Designed for travel, the Shinola Rambler GMT Watch will keep you on schedule no matter what locale you’re in. Other features include a 44mm stainless steel case, water resistance down to 100 meters, a screw-down crown, a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, a date window at 3 o’clock, and either a handcrafted leather strap or a dial-matching black rubber strap. If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, then the Nike Air Force 1 has solidified itself as one of the greatest sneakers all time. Well, even without its imitators, the AF1 is already considered among the greats which is why it comes as no surprise that another company this time, Valentino appears to have used it as a foundation for its newest release. The silhouette is very similar with strap and sole details mirroring its Nike counterpart.
What sets this apart from the AF1 is the premium materials. The shoe is made in Italy with an upper comprised of a calk-skin leather and fabric insets to mimic a camo pattern. Rubber stud details can also be seen on the shoe’s back heel as well as the forefoot of the shoe’s outsole. All in all this is a premium sneaker for those people who want to take it to that next level. Dont get me wrong this is a beautifully crafted sneaker but I personally will be sticking to the trusted Nike version…If you on the other hand can part with £600+ shop here
