Just in time for the Party Season Nike drops the “Disco Ball” Air Max 1 for women. (not that, that bothers us anymore) Comprised of tiny metallic silver windows against an ice blue underlay, the shoe runs the same metallic silver Swoosh and black outsoles for each pair. Black accents, ice blue eyelets and matching metallic ice blue laces finish the festive colourway off. The Nike “Disco Ball” Air Max 1 releases December 12 at Nike Quickstrike accounts.

Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter of Daft Punk were two French guys who wanted to make dance music, and keep all the focus on just that – the music. In order to strip their personalities from the project completely, they linked up with special effects master Tony Gardner to help them design helmets that would that would shield their identities, essentially rendering them robots who make killer shit to dance to. Mixmag‘s new mini-documentary, Daft Punk: Behind the Helmets is a visual history of the now-infamous headgear, from it’s early iterations with hair, to the ultra-sleek models of 2013. Watch it above. Seriously.

Baracuta teams up with Manchester-based boutique Oi Polloi to offer a special edition G9 heritage jacket inspired by international motor racing. Tracing back to the Gordon Bennett Cup of 1903, when each national racing team required an individual colour, and red, white and blue was already allotted to Italy, Germany and France, it was only appropriate that Britain paid respect to its Irish hosts by selecting shamrock green — the colour was darkened over time and became British Racing Green.
